The Jueying Lite (Venture), also known as the Lite 3 Venture by DEEP Robotics, is an advanced lightweight AI quadruped robot. Designed for education, research, and development, it features 12 degrees of freedom (DOF) and advanced joint technology capable of executing dynamic manoeuvres like front flips, high jumps, and autonomous obstacle navigation.Â
Key Technical Specifications
-
- Locomotion: Reaches peak speeds of 2.5 m/s, climbs 40° slopes, and navigates stairs up to 18 cm in AI motion mode.
- Endurance: The battery allows for 1.5 to 2 hours of continuous operation or a mileage of approximately 4 to 5 km.Â
- Payload Capacity: Supports a walking payload of up to 4.5 to 5 kg, allowing for secondary payload additions.Â
- Perception: Equipped with a depth camera (e.g., Intel RealSense), wide-angle camera, and dual ultrasonic radar (with LiDAR options available on the Venture Pro model) for depth perception and 3D obstacle avoidance.
- Control: Powered by an industrial-level real-time control system, native ROS compatibility, and open modular interfaces for secondary development, SDKs, and RTK/5G expansions.Â
Because of its open-source modular architecture, the robot is heavily utilized by technical enthusiasts, tech institutions, and universities globally. Common use cases include autonomous navigation research, visual tracking, object following, and tech education.
